Frequently Asked Questions

Our goal is to make renting classic cars as simple as possible. Simply select your car, reserve your vehicle, pay the rate, and enjoy the drive.

Is there an age requirement for renting

Drivers must be at least 30 years old and have a valid US drivers license.

Do you offer delivery and pickup?

We do provide delivery for an additional fee of $120 within a 20 mile radius of downtown Kansas City.

Do I need my own insurance or is it included with the rental?

All self drive rentals require the renter to have current auto insurance and a valid US drivers license. During the booking process, Turo will verify your information.

How many miles are included with rentals?

Each self drive rental is allowed 200 miles per day. Additional miles are $2.00 per mile.

Do the vehicles have automatic or manual transmissions?

RND offers a mix of both manual and automatic transmissions. Drivers renting a manual transmission vehicle must be an expert in using clutches and have extensive experience with manual transmissions. Note: If the drivetrain of a manual transmission is damaged, the renter will be presumed to be at fault and will be held liable for repair of any damaged components of the car.

When do I get charged for the rental?

Your card will be charged the full rental as soon as your reservation is confirmed. The deposit will be held for 72 hours before the rental period begins, then released 72 hours after the rental period ends, assuming no damages were incurred.

Can I cancel or reschedule my rental?

Rentals may be canceled with at least 48 hours notification at no charge. If a cancellation is made with less than 48 hours notification, the canceling user will be charged the full fee of the rental plus a $25 inconvenience fee. Contact RND at hello@rndkc.com to initiate cancellation.

Can I let other people drive my rental?

Turo does allow you to add an approved additional driver to the trip. Permitting someone who is not an approved driver to drive one of our vehicles is strictly prohibited.

Is roadside assistance included with the rental?

Should there be a mechanical issue with the vehicle, we will provide assistance 24/7. If you do have an issue call us at 816-744-5989

Can I rent your vehicles for a photoshoot or special event?

Absolutely! Many of the vehicles listed on our site are also available for events and special occasions, such as weddings or photo shoots.
